Greenland Socks by P1G® - universal trekking socks suitable for tactical tasks. This model can be used in winter as well as in the shoulder seasons. They provide thermoregulation and good breathability when used with different types of footwear.

Construction features

The socks have a zonal construction to provide comfort during long walks. The toe and heel zones are reinforced for increased durability and heat retention. The toes have flat seams and cushioning inserts to reduce friction. A special compression zone provides arch support. The elastic cuff hugs the leg and prevents the sock from slipping down.

Material benefits

The main component of the socks is Merino wool, which provides heat retention and moisture absorption, wicking it away from the skin while continuing to keep warm. It also has antibacterial properties, reducing the likelihood of unpleasant odors. Additionally, acrylic is added to the yarn, helping to retain heat, creating a sense of softness and comfort. Polyamide increases durability and dries quickly.

Lycra plays an auxiliary, but not the least role. It allows the socks to stretch evenly and creates a comfortable fit. The Lycra threads on the surface are coated with silver ions, which are activated by body heat. After that, they attach to bacteria, destroying ribonucleic acid and DNA synthesis. This destroys bacteria and inhibits their reproduction, preventing the formation of unpleasant foot odor.

Cold and frost are not a problem when wearing Greenland socks from P1G®!
