SHS (Summer Hiking Socks) are hiking socks for three-season use from the P1G® brand. They provide thermal regulation and good breathability when used with different types of footwear. This model is often used by representatives of the Security and Defense Forces with boots and tactical shoes.
Design features
The SHS socks have several zones to ensure comfort during continuous wear. The upper foot area is specially made lightweight for better ventilation and cooling. The cuff and the middle of the sock are complemented by elastic zones that fix the sock on the foot. The cuff holds the product well, and the middle zone provides anatomical support for the arch of the foot. These elastic zones also have longitudinal ventilation channels. When they are pressed against the wall of the boot, internal pressure is created, which helps to remove moisture from the foot. Stressful areas such as the toe, heel, and forefoot are reinforced for increased durability.

SHS are made by machine knitting from a combination of organic cotton, nylon, and elastane. The ratio of materials makes the product comfortable to wear almost all year round and durable enough to withstand daily stress in the field.
