Monticola is a winter jacket by the P1G® brand. It retains heat well and is made of high-quality and wear-resistant materials to ensure comfort and durability of the product. Monticola can be used in low temperatures, strong winds, high and low-intensity loads. This model is suitable for all representatives of the Security and Defense Forces, as well as for lovers of an active lifestyle.

Design features

The jacket has five spacious pockets for storing the necessary equipment. There are two lower zippered pockets in the front, which are also insulated on the outside to keep your hands warm. On the upper chest, on the left side, there is a zippered pocket, where it is convenient to store a smartphone or tactical notebook. Inside there are two pockets with a vertical entrance to store electronics or tactical gloves.

The hood is integrated into the collar and has an anatomical shape and an elastic band around the perimeter for a better fit. The hood and collar are also insulated with fleece inside for better heat retention. The cuffs and bottom edge of the jacket are equipped with an elastic band that ensures heat retention and a comfortable fit.

The central zipper has a two-way slider that allows you to unzip the jacket from either side and quickly access the equipment on the belt. For additional comfort, the upper part of the zipper has an integrated chin guard and an internal wind flap along the entire length. Also, the shoulder design lacks a top seam, which prevents chafing during prolonged wearing of a tactical backpack or tactical equipment.

Advantages of materials

The Monticola jacket is made of a durable membrane that protects against precipitation and removes excess moisture from the body. It has basic performance indicators: waterproofness of 1000 mm and vapor permeability of 1000 g/m2 for 24 hours. Also, for greater wear resistance, when rubbing or catching on equipment on the belt, the lower part of the jacket is made of the same material as the top.

The jacket's internal insulation is made using non-woven silicone - a lightweight material that does not clump, provides good heat retention and does not impede air circulation. To maintain a stable body temperature and protect against overheating, zonal insulation is used: torso and back 300 g/m2, and sleeves and hood - 200 g/m2.
